Problems with PCs and Macs

Problem 1: The image format or layout file format stored on the PC can be opened in the Mac machine using the corresponding graphics processing software; the image format or layout file format stored on the Mac cannot be opened on the PC.
Solution:
When storing images on a Mac, add the appropriate image format suffix, such as. TIF,. JPG, etc., can be opened directly on the PC using Photoshop or other image processing software. If you do not add a suffix, you can select the File/Open As command in Photoshop, select the appropriate file format to open in the pop-up dialog box, or add the extension of the corresponding image file format on the PC (note the extension Can not be added wrong, otherwise it will not open the image).
Using PC format PgageMaker files on Mac machines, use the same version of PageMaker program to open. For example, if PC files are created using PageMaker6.5C, they must be opened with PageMaker 6.5 version on Mac machines. If you want to print or film, be sure to select the conversion link file name in the pop-up dialog and translate the original file for viewing and printing options in the PICT. Also select the appropriate alternative in the pop-up font dialog. Fonts, images can be in PC format.
If you use a Mac machine's PageMaker file on your PC, you should also use the same version of the PageMaker program to open it, plus the appropriate version of the file extension. If you do not manually add the file extension, you can also select the file type for all files in the Open dialog box. After opening the file, you also need to select the options for viewing and printing in the pop-up dialog box, and select the corresponding alternative font. The format of the image can also be Mac format.
Question 2: How to connect PC and Mac
Use a network cable to connect the PC to the Mac and install the PC Maclan software on the PC. You can use this software to install the Apple Talk protocol on the PC to communicate between the PC and the Mac. After the installation is complete, avoid the computer, right-click the My Network Places icon, and select Properties from the menu. Make sure the Apple Talk protocol is installed. If it is not installed, Miramar Systems' AppleTalk Protocol For NDIS3 protocol can be added manually.
Restart the computer, you can achieve the PC and Mac machine interconnection, and you can see the Chinese name of the Mac machine in the PC.
Other issues that should be noted:
1. If you use a plain text file generated by a PC on a Mac, be sure to remove the space. Otherwise, problems such as garbled characters and inability to produce a movie may occur.
If the file is used for the exchange between the PC and the Mac, the file name is preferably the English name. Otherwise, the file may not be opened because the file path cannot be found.
