The greatest invention in the 20th century is undoubtedly the computer; due to its development and utilization, it has caused tremendous changes in the human society. Electricity-to-publishing is the application of computers in the field of news and publishing. It has caused the publishing industry to bid farewell to lead and fire, to light and electricity, and to the Internet. The rapid development has had far-reaching effects. In order to pay tribute to the entrepreneurs of China’s electronic publishing and to inspire some latecomers, we specially launched the “Review of Industry” section to review and introduce important events and people in the process of the exhibition and the development of China Electronics.
