2. To deal with the detection of some small molecules, for example: the detection of frontal adenosine and glucocorticoids, my understanding is to use the competitive method ELISA to detect, but also to buy a kit using this method. The detection of cytokines in ELISA kits is usually carried out by the sandwich ELISA method. Due to the large molecular weight of the factor, it is generally around 10 KD. It is easy to find two or more epitopes.
However, it is difficult for small molecules to find two unclear epitopes, which determines that the coating antibody and the detection antibody cannot simultaneously bind to the small molecule and solidify. The solution is to coat the secondary antibody on the enzyme label plate, add a certain amount of small molecule of the enzyme label to each well, then add the sample, and then add the undetected detection antibody to develop the substrate. The higher the target small molecule content of the sample, the lower the absorbance.
3. For the detection of insulin, I still recommend the test kit of LInco, a subsidiary of Millpore. Whether it is exemption or ELISA, it is said that the patent right is in their hands. 4. The detection of NO is generally based on the classic Greiss method. Nowadays, there are NO ELISA kits on the market. In addition, there are tests for oxidative stress index MDA. I still recommend you to use Biyuntian or imported test kits instead of ELISA kits.
5. The main customers are medical colleges. The important species for the implementation are humans, rats and mice. Nowadays, boxes of various indicators such as chicken, cow, horse, sheep and rabbit are available in the market. Know how these antibodies come from. As far as I know, these inflammation indicators are still very species-specific.
6. The ELISA detection method is simple and highly sensitive. I personally think that ELISA is the most suitable for the quantitative detection of excretory small molecule proteins such as cytokines, insulin, hormones, etc. in serum or culture supernatants; the qualitative and quantitative determination of pathogen antigens in ELISA kits; Evaluate the titer of serum antibodies prepared by yourself. Many customers have a misunderstanding, and when they take an indicator, they will try to use ELISA to take it for granted. I still recommend using the brain more.
