Since the promulgation of the "Clean Production Promotion Law of the People's Republic of China", our metal container packaging industry has to implement clean production according to law, improve resource utilization, reduce and avoid the problem of pollution, and become a grim reality for enterprises to seek development.
Exhaust gas pollution in the paint drying room of the barrel industry is well-conceived. The installation of exhaust gas purification and environmental protection equipment is a relatively good solution, but because it consumes more energy (oil, liquefied gas, etc.), the reasons for increasing the operating cost of the drying room have caused many companies to have various doubts and opinions. To this end, I would like to introduce to you the relevant information and data on the installation of exhaust gas purification and environmental protection equipment at home and abroad in recent years. If it can achieve the "environmental protection and energy saving dual effect" of exhaust gas purification and environmental protection equipment is the ideal environmental protection equipment.
First, the type and principle of waste gas purification and environmental protection equipment:
1. Absorption purification method: a method for separating harmful gases from exhaust gas by utilizing different solubility or chemical reaction of each mixed component in the exhaust gas in a selected absorbent. It has been used in the printing iron industry and has been abandoned due to its low purification efficiency and secondary pollution.
2. Adsorption purification method: a porous solid (adsorbent) is used to accumulate or concentrate harmful components in the exhaust gas on the surface for separation purposes. However, since the adsorbent (such as activated carbon) will gradually fail during use, it must be replaced regularly, and secondary pollution will also occur, so it is appropriate to adopt it as a stopgap measure.
3. Combustion method: The combustion method for treating exhaust gas includes flame combustion (direct combustion), thermal combustion, and catalytic combustion. Since the concentration of exhaust gas in the paint drying oven is low, there is no requirement for self-made fuel for combustion and purification. Therefore, the combustion methods of the latter two are introduced.
(1) Thermal combustion (also known as incineration):
It relies on the heat generated by the combustion of the auxiliary fuel (burner) to increase the temperature of the exhaust gas, so that the components of the hydrocarbon in the exhaust gas are oxidized, decomposed and converted into harmless carbon dioxide and water vapor (the smoke emitted by the chimney is smokeless and tasteless). The ideal purification effect. To achieve this purification purpose, the thermal combustion in the environmentally friendly furnace must reach the "three T" condition: the temperature in the furnace is about 760 °C, and the exhaust gas residence time (Time) is sufficient at this temperature. The mixture of oxygen (Turbulence) should be sufficient to fully purify the exhaust gas.
(2) Catalytic combustion method:
It is a catalyst that accelerates the decomposition of exhaust gas in the combustion of exhaust gas. It only needs 350 °C to purify the exhaust gas, which is obviously more economical than the incineration method. However, the composition of the catalyst (three parts: active component, cocatalyst, wearing body) and the arrangement of the catalytic bed are crucial. The design of the furnace body is more rigorous. However, no matter what type of catalyst is used in the exhaust gas purification process, its activity will gradually decrease with time, and finally the catalyst fails, and the catalyst must be replaced again to purify the exhaust gas. Therefore, the catalytic combustion method has a problem of the service life.
(3) Comparison and commonality between incineration and catalytic combustion methods:
Incineration method: It is the most thorough method of purifying exhaust gas. However, the energy consumption of purifying exhaust gas is high at around 760 °C. The heat must be recycled for practical value.
Catalytic combustion method: The exhaust gas purification temperature can be only about 350 °C through the catalytic bed, which is lower than the energy consumption by the incineration method. However, due to the problem of the service life of the catalyst and the practical problems of heat recovery, there are many factors in the actual operation of the environmental protection furnace.
The two have in common: they all make full use of the heat generated by the exhaust gas during oxidative decomposition to provide the temperature requirement of the combustion chamber or the catalytic chamber. Therefore, the concentration of the exhaust gas is large to save energy.
Second, KIC environmental protection furnace features:
After collecting the exhaust gas, it is pumped into the environmental protection furnace, and then the exhaust gas purification treatment is carried out according to the following procedures: indirect preheating→combustion heating (primary purification)→catalytic reaction (secondary purification)→heat is sent to the drying room for production use.
The secondary purification treatment method combines the principles of incineration and catalytic methods to achieve the dual effects of environmental protection and energy conservation. The energy consumption is lower than the incineration method, and the catalyst life is longer than the catalytic method. The best effect of residual heat utilization is to stop the use of the two burners in the original paint booth. The heat recovery of the environmental protection furnace can guarantee the production and use, and does not affect the product quality.
Third, KIC environmental protection furnace acceptance criteria
1. The purification effect of the exhaust gas is to achieve the environmental protection standard stipulated by GB16297-1996 in the case of smokeless and odorless.
2. The heat recovery of the exhaust gas purification and environmental protection equipment can be used for production (the original oven burner is stopped) to achieve energy saving effect.
3. Does not affect the temperature control accuracy of the original paint drying room.
4. Does not affect product quality.
Fourth, KIC environmental protection furnace application data
The environmental protection furnace has been used in printing iron, printing, barrel making and other industries.
1 Printing iron: Under the environmental protection requirements, the remaining heat recovery reaches 700,000 kcal/hour of heat. The total energy consumption of the original paint drying room and the printing iron drying room is about 6-700,000 kcal/hour. Therefore, under the condition of continuously producing a full drying room, the waste heat can be used for production in two drying rooms, that is, one to two. However, in fact, due to changes in production conditions, under the premise of ensuring the production of paint drying rooms, excess heat is then transferred to the printing iron oven (as the case may be, the iron burner can be deactivated).
2 Barrel: Under the environmental protection requirements, the remaining heat recovery can save 5-10%. According to the statistics of a barrel factory, the energy consumption of the original paint drying room is 950,000 kcal/hour, and the waste heat after installing the environmental protection furnace Recycling for production use is 750,000 kcal / hour, it has been used for about three years, still saving about 5%. It is currently being observed to further improve the quality of its products.
