Prepress, printing, and postpress technologies are all moving toward higher, faster, and more refined technologies, especially over the years. Bookbinding technology has also been rapidly developed. More and more companies have introduced advanced equipment, which has provided more reliable guarantees for the production cycle and quality of books and periodicals, and has injected vitality into the development of post-press binding technology. Now we have a few experiences on the product quality problems that are easy to appear in various processes, which are only for reference by the industry peers.

Common quality problems

One. Missing posts (missing posts)

1. The stacking of signatures is too high, and the stacking height of the signatures should be appropriately reduced.

2. The front and rear gauges of the book stack are tightly clamped, and the gap should be properly adjusted.

3. If the suction volume of the suction nozzle is too small, the suction force should be increased.

4. The nozzle is worn and should be replaced.

5. The nozzle stem and valve are blocked and should be cleaned regularly.

6. The opening time and closing time of the cavities do not match with the oscillating position of the nozzle. The patting time should be adjusted and the hem position of the suction nozzle should be matched with the opening and closing time of the cavities.

7. Regularly check the missing patch detection device to ensure its sensitivity.

2. More posts (heavy posts)

1. The support page is loose and does not hold the signature completely. It should be adjusted to a proper position to hold the signature.

2. When the suction nozzle is low and the swinging amplitude is small, the nozzle height and swinging amplitude should be adjusted.

3. If the book stacking is not mixed, you should break the book off and regularly check the multiple posts detection device. Ensure its reliability.

4. Multi-poster and post-card auto-removal institutions are not properly adjusted, and when discarding waste books is not timely, the corresponding cam industry position should be selected according to the length direction of the book's post to prevent the multi-post and less-post book from being mixed into the finished book.

Three wrong posts

Operators are required to carefully check the layout and page number of their posts in order to prevent mistakes, and to stack semi-finished products at the same time. It is necessary to implement spot checks for every three or every ten spot checks conducted by spot-checkers; , found the wrong posts in a timely manner.

Four. Dispatch (inverted)

1. Improper adjustment of the collection chain should align the dial on the set chain.

2. Tooth occlusions are tight, and when the placards are fast, the cavities should be adjusted so that the speed of the plackets is basically the same.

3. If the angle of the book holder is improper, adjust the angle of the stopper.

4. The signatures of the book are inconsistent and the signatures are not in place. Clearances should not be made.

V. Damage to the signature

1. The paper is thin and poor, and the sucking force of the suction nozzle is too large.

2. The tusks are tight and break the signature.

3. The stacking of the signatures is high. When the last affixed signature is sucked away, drag the top page of the placard down and tear it.

4. The automatic control system is not working properly, and the signature is damaged when it is indiscriminately posted.

5. The tightness of the two fangs is inconsistent, tearing the pages.
