First, the hard edge of the curled back (Figure 1)
In the production process of steel drums, sometimes the assembled barrels have hard edges on the back. The severity is different. In severe cases, the bucket cannot be rolled down smoothly, or even wrapped in a roll. The cause of the problem and the solution are as follows:
1. The bottom cover is too low.
The bottom cover roller should be installed on the side of the reeling wheel, and the upper end is slightly lower than the reeling disc. Because the installation is too low or the fastening roller bolt is loose, the roller will not be able to act as the bottom cover. A hard edge problem arises. At this point, roll up or retighten the bolts, and the hard edge can disappear.
2. The volume is not correct.
Due to the improper installation of the sealing disk, the upper and lower jumps occur when rotating. At this time, the barrel curl is prone to a half-circle hard edge. Re-adjust the roll to make the jump disappear and the hard edges disappear.
3. The shrink disk is worn.
When it is continuously produced for a long time, when the acute angle at the lower end of the sealing disk is worn to a certain extent, a hard edge phenomenon also occurs. This problem can also occur when the coil is sealed by multiple repairs due to uneven quenching after welding and the disc will be partially dropped during production. The new roll seal should be replaced in time.
4. The barrel weld is too wide.
The domestic welding machine barrel body needs to be wide and can be produced. At this time, if the winding and closing of the winding wheel is tight, the hard edge of the back of the straight seam and the seaming seam can occur. If you loosen the adjustment screw of the wheel slightly, the problem can be eliminated.

This problem refers to the entire circumference of the curled edge or partial wear. The causes and solutions to the problem are as follows:
1. The problem of curved design of the coiled wheel.
According to experience, it is known that when the design of the arc of the coil sealing wheel is large, the use of such a wheel seal is advantageous for the thinner steel drum, mainly to make the curling of the curling tight, but the tightening can also occur. Grinding problem. Therefore, it should be noted that the rotation of the rotation is suitable. It is not advisable to use the wheel designed in this way to produce thick steel drums.
2. Poor lubrication.
When the inner spray barrel is produced, the bottom cover of the barrel is pickled, so that the surface of the barrel board is detached. Therefore, when the seal is wound, the friction between the wheel and the steel plate is increased, and the top is ground. Horizontal sealing machines with high production speeds are more prone to problems. When the seal is applied, the saponification solution is sprayed on the arc portion to increase the lubrication to avoid this problem.
3. The roll position is improper.
When the bottom cover roll is installed too high or too far away from the roll seal, the problem of grinding can occur. After proper adjustment, normal production can be resumed.
