Analyze problems based on customer feedback quality issues and develop quality control measures

We have had such quality problems: During the use process, customers found that the beer cartons we produced had a tendency to warp and buckle during the rainy season and the compressive strength of the cartons dropped significantly. We complained about this quality. problem. We conducted inspections, analysis and research through in-depth observation and extraction of physical objects to identify causes and problems. First of all, we check the inspection data of the lab's base papers. The results show that the technical indicators of corrugated paperboard and linerboard are higher than the standard values, and especially there is nothing in the horizontal ring pressure index that has a certain relationship with carton strength. problem. Then, where are the problems? After examining and contrasting the carton boxes, we found the following: After the surface of the carton in the carton was dripped, the water beads quickly showed a carton that was oozing. The carton felt a bit soft when touched. It was tested. Its compressive strength value is also low; conversely, water droplets are not easy to appear in the cartons of seepage phenomenon, the touch feeling of the carton is also hard, and the compressive strength value is also high. In addition, the moisture-absorbing carton has a relatively high moisture content. The analysis of the test data shows that the sizing of the base paper is poor, the carton is susceptible to moisture absorption, and the water content increases and softens, and the carton is prone to deformation, resulting in a decrease in compressive strength. According to the tests and analysis, we formulated the corresponding raw material quality control standards, and adopted a simple “drip method” to measure the water absorption and sizing degree of the base paper. The test standard requirement was >=60S, that is, after the water droplets were dropped on the paper surface. In the standard time, there should be no seepage phenomenon. On the other hand, we also control the horizontal stiffness, surface roughness, and water absorption of preprinted whiteboard papers, and emphasize the control requirements of these technical indicators when signing purchase contracts. At the same time using high-bright glazing oil coating, so that the carton is not easy to appear moisture absorption phenomenon. Through data analysis, we took corresponding process control measures so that the quality of the base paper was better controlled and the strength and quality of the carton were significantly improved.

Through testing and comparative analysis, a scientific and reasonable inspection method shall be established to ensure the quality of raw materials

Raw materials are the source of product quality. It is very important to do inspection and control. For this purpose, we have purchased lSD-3 type electronic compressive strength tester, YQ-ZB-8 type paper and paperboard folding resistance instrument, ZUS-20 type thickness gauge and other testing instruments, which can detect the adhesive strength, side pressure strength, Ring compression strength, bending degree, tightness and other technical indicators. However, with the detection instrument does not mean that the product quality is accurately controlled, and only to improve the accuracy of the test, can we better achieve the purpose of quality control. Then, how can we improve the accuracy of the test? According to the requirements of relevant national standards, the test sample must be subjected to constant temperature and humidity treatment for a certain period of time under specific environmental conditions, so that the performance of the base paper can be relatively stable and constant at the constant temperature. Testing under constant humidity conditions can obtain relatively accurate detection results. In fact, it is very difficult to do this for raw material inspections. Often only the method of sampling or inspection of the base paper can be used. Such detection results and the detection results under constant temperature and humidity conditions may have certain errors in the side pressure strength and the ring pressure strength, etc. It will be a little lower than the norm. In response to this phenomenon, we developed a scientific and reasonable method of detection through comparative analysis and analysis. The main approach is to divide the same piece of paper into two parts, which are arranged to be tested under two conditions. One is the laboratory of our factory. Self-testing under natural conditions, the other is to send the paper samples to the laboratory of a professional institution under standard conditions, after the paper samples are subjected to constant temperature and humidity testing, and then the data of these two test results are analyzed and compared. Find the difference between the two, we call it the detection coefficient.

For example, in the case of a lateral pressure index test for a certain type of paper, the result of a professional laboratory test is 6.84 Nm/g, and the result of the test adopted by the factory is 5.7 Nm/g. The test coefficient is 1 .2, the formula is: the value of professional laboratory testing divided by the factory self-test value. After many such contrast detection experiments, the average value of the detection coefficient is determined as our standard detection coefficient. In this way, the value of the cyclic pressure index measured by our laboratory in conventional conditions multiplied by the standard detection coefficient is our more accurate test result. Through the above comparison test and data analysis developed standard test coefficients, so that our test has a certain degree of accuracy and fairness, the test results have also been approved by the supplier, and better play a role in controlling the quality of the original paper.
