PEN new polyester beer bottle

The development of PEN new beer bottles has attracted the attention of the international packaging industry. PEN is polyethylene naphthalate. The difference from PET is that the naphthalene ring is used instead of the benzene ring of PET, and the monomer of the polymerization raw material is NEC instead of terephthalic acid. PEN and PET have similar molecular structure, but they have better barrier properties, UV resistance, heat resistance, and high temperature resistance than PET (non-crystalline PEN thermal transition temperature is up to 100°C, while PET temperature resistance is only 20°C). PEN is not only used for beer packaging, but also for other wine and beverage packaging. The market prospect is very wide.
