Certification mark on product packaging (below)

GBS logo

The GBS mark is a certification mark issued by the Canadian Standards Committee to quality-qualified products.

GOST logo

The GOST mark is a Russian product certification mark. Most of China’s exports to Russia fall within the scope of mandatory certification. Therefore, it is very necessary for Chinese exporters to understand the Russian certification system.

According to Russian law, if the goods are subject to compulsory certification, whether they are produced in Russia or imported, they should be certified according to the current safety regulations and receive the Russian national standard certificate (abbreviation GOST certificate). There is no GOST certificate product that cannot be put on the market. For many imported products, even customs cannot pass it.

SG safety certification

SG is an abbreviation for "Safety Goods." Products that are affixed with the SG logo are proof that their raw materials contain absolutely no or only a very small amount of harmful substances, do not cause harm to the health of consumers, and guarantee the safe use of the product. In addition to requiring the product to be safe during use, the SG mark system also requires that when an accident occurs in the product, manufacturers and sellers have the responsibility and obligation to handle the aftermath and compensate consumers for losses.

According to relevant personage analysis, the SG logo is likely to develop into a mandatory requirement for products in developed countries in the future. It is necessary for relevant production and operation enterprises to begin research on the SG mark system and pay attention to the increasing trend of international product safety requirements.

CB logo

The CB test is a global mutual certification system with 34 members worldwide. Under the common IEC standard, each verification unit mutually acknowledges each other's CB certificate and report issued by each other. According to this, it is possible to quickly convert other countries' certificates.

Nordic logo

The Nordic logo is a Nordic four country safety certification mark, and the product range is the same as the CB mark.

Choosing the right certification scheme will enable the company to obtain greater benefits with less investment. Under normal circumstances, companies are certified according to the following.

According to the sales area: Products sold in different countries and regions must meet different certification requirements in different countries. To go to Europe to meet the CE requirements; to the United States to meet UL requirements; go to Russia to meet the GOST requirements.

According to the product type: different types of products have different detection standards, but also have different certification marks, such as Germany's TUV agency for the whole product with GS mark or EMC mark, and TUV signs for parts and components.

According to the requirements of local laws, there are EN standards, IEC standards, BS standards, and JIS standards for safety standards, and BZT, FCC, CE/EM C, and so on for electromagnetic compatibility requirements. So choose the required standard according to local requirements. In addition, after some regional standards were promulgated, they were not immediately enforced. Enterprises could decide whether to adopt them immediately in accordance with legal requirements and market sales. For electronic and electrical products, European EM C directives and low-voltage directives have been enforced.

According to the purpose of market sales: what kind of certification is obtained, the general buyer will put forward his own proposal, and the company can also obtain other certifications to improve the product image, increase consumer confidence and desire to purchase.

Choose a highly authoritative certification body: The credibility of the certification body is a cornerstone of its certification effectiveness. Due to the problem of joint and several liability of the product, the buyers all require the third party certification body to strictly monitor the safety and quality of the product. The inspection certification provided by a reputable certification body can be recognized by most buyers. Such as the United States famous UL laboratory, German TUV Rhine company.

Choose the services of multinational accredited certification bodies: Selecting the services of multinational accreditation bodies can eliminate the need for re-testing and payment of test costs when companies need multinational accreditation. For example, an agreement signed by Rheinland and Russia can enable companies to obtain After the GS certification, the GOST certification is obtained; if the CB report is considered as a pass to the global certification, if the company’s products are sold to multiple countries, CB reports may be selected. The CB system is a global mutual recognition system. Its members are in 34 countries. At this time, the certification body must be a member of the CB to help companies obtain multinational certification. China's CCEE is recognized by the IECEE International Electrotechnical Certification Organization as a national certification authority that can issue CB test certificates in accordance with 46 IEC standards. Its 10 test stations are CB laboratories, and companies that have obtained CB test certificates issued by CCEE are its products. For exporting to IECEE-CCB member countries, these countries are the result of approved testing tests.
