On the 3rd, the "Green Home Materials 3G Mark" jointly launched by the China Interior Decoration Association Green Home Environment Technology Committee and the China Wood-based Panel Distribution Alliance was officially launched. Five companies became the first batch of “Green Home” logo authorized enterprises.

The reporter noted that the “Green House” logo clearly marked the detection values ​​of formaldehyde and total volatile organic compounds, and classified the floor and board into three environmental protection grades like G1, G2 and G3. Among them, G1 is an aldehyde-free grade with the highest environmental protection level, and its harmful substance release is not only far lower than the current national standards, but also lower than the limit required by the internationally recognized most healthy floor standard “Japan 'F4 Star'”.

The content of harmful substances such as formaldehyde, benzene and toluene in household plates has long been concerned by consumers. Some famous brands have been exposed to excessive formaldehyde, which makes many consumers lack trust and misunderstanding in household products. To this end, the Green Home Environment Technical Committee has specially drafted the "Green Plate Purchasing Standards", and jointly developed the green living material auditing system with the international authoritative certification body GSG to conduct product testing, auditing and certification. At present, the "Green Plate Purchasing Standards" has been approved by the Ministry of Commerce and will be officially implemented on December 1.

According to experts, China's current environmental standards for flooring and sheet metal are not uniform, and certain indicators are inconsistent, which has led to a mixed quality of products. The president of the China Interior Decoration Association said that compared with some developed countries, there is still a big gap in our current household materials standards.
