Vacheron Constantin watch display box won the 2015 "future master of arts" first prize

Geneva, February 9, 2016 - Students from Corentin Ollivau and Clément Demarson co-authored a unique artwork under the collaboration of Haute Horlogerie manufacturer Vacheron Constantin and École Boulle - Timepiece display box. This unique work won the first national prize of the 2015 Avenir Métiers d'Art by the French National Institute of Technology (INMA). The "Masters of the Future" Award was established by the French National Craft Council in Paris to reward young people at professional training stages whose passion and creativity lead the future development of these careers; at the same time, young people are encouraged to value their creativity With the development of professional skills. The young carver Corentin Ollivau and the wood artisan Clément Demarson, graduates of the graduating class from the two Bulgarian Institute of the Arts, won the 2015 "Master of Future Art" award. As a collaboration between Vacheron Constantin and the Breh High Academy of Arts, "Craft and Design: Sharing Professional Skills," the two students designed a beautifully presented display case for Vacheron Constantin, using them in their respective fields of art The purest traditional art style - carved and wooden. Inspired by the city of Paris, the display box is made of wild Sorbus (tree of the same tree) with multiple layers of textures, with a beautiful city of light on the inner ring's inner wall. A drawer is hidden on each side of the display box for all kinds of tools, while the timepiece is presented on a platform in the middle of the display box through an original wheel structure just above the engraved Paris map. Clément Demarson explains: "With a careful look at the details of this piece and its ergonomic design, you can taste the sense of ritual that the case is in use." This unique piece will be on display at the Vacheron Constantin Paris Peace Road store on display. Vacheron Constantin, in cooperation with the Buhler Institute of Advanced Arts, one of Europe's largest art and design schools, offers an ideal platform for promoting, sharing and sharing different arts and crafts fields. The Craft and Design: Sharing of Professional Skills will continue until 2017, and student creative projects will be guided and supported by brand designers and crafts masters. The partnership aims to discover and support tomorrow's craft masters, who are well-versed in learning and training but have excellent handicraft techniques, and encourage them to step into the advanced watchmaking industry. This program of collaboration with the Breh College of Art is part of Vacheron Constantin's commitment to the development of human resources and craftsmanship. Founded in 2013, the college aims to preserve traditional craftsmanship and to carry forward the glorious history of Haute Horlogerian tradition over the past 260 years and continues.
