The invention relates to a packaging container for a fillable food product. It consists of a laminated tubular packaging material with two opposite end edge seals. This material is produced by welding and cutting open the packaging material extending between the two packages. A perforation line extends across a corner of one of the two ends to open the container. The cut edge with the end edge seal portion passing through the L-line has a bend, and the first edge of the cut edge is made to extend closer to the filling portion of the product on the container than the third edge of the cut edge. The invention also relates to a cutting blade device and a method of producing a packaging container.
