Automatic Register Control System Selection

1. Automatic registration control marks on printed paper

Automatic registration control marks are automatically printed on paper to control round, horizontal and diagonal registration (Figure 7-17/1). Automatic registration control marks provide relevant information for accurate registration control of individual printing units. .

2. (Automatic Register Control System) Menu

In the menu of the automatic register control system, the operator selects the register printing control unit, sets the standard color, determines whether to use the reference value (OK value), or saves the manual setting value.

a. Press the menu bar registration function button (Figure 7-18/1). The same name menu is displayed on the display.
b. Press the Auto-register button on the register function menu (Figure 7-18/2). The automatic register control menu appears. The default value has been set on this menu (Figure 7-18/3).
c. Define the standard color. The operator should first decide which color to use as a reference mark for printing. Overprint adjustments must be consistent with this color overall. Normally "black" (Fig. 7-19/1) is used as the standard color. If the reference mark is printed in another color, select the correct color key (use the arrow keys).

 Tip: The selected standard color must contain the reference color, which is very important for testing.
