Eliminate the faults of the layout rule in color printing

A company has 2 MAN PLAMAG color printing presses, equipped with 8 printing units, each unit printing 3 colors (upper 2 colors, lower 1 color). Since the machine has been used for many years, the position running rule often occurs when printing with multiple color groups. Especially when changing the printing speed or receiving paper, the running rule between the cross color groups is usually more than 3mm.

Analyze the reason. Since the running of the paper tape is driven only by the tension of the paper tape, when the dynamic balance of the running changes due to the change of the printing speed or the paper receiving, the running rule is caused. Analyzed in principle, after running the rule, it can be corrected by adjusting the CNC plate height (within 2mm) and the top position of the paper tape (within more than 2mm). However, it takes time and paper to start up normally, which affects the printing quality of the color newsletter.

In actual production, a manual adjustment knob can be added to the paper bar controlled by the status of the paper tape. Once the running rule appears in the cross-color group, just turn the knob, which is convenient, fast, and can reduce waste. At the same time ensure the printing quality.
