Reporter: 1. Which one do you like best in designing these works? Or which one is most impressive?

Jiang Feng: I can't talk about my favorite. Anyone feels dissatisfied. I feel a lot of regrets. First, there are places where the design of the company is not thoughtful. Second, the place where we design is not realized during the construction process. The third is that the later owners change our design concept. In short, there are various reasons, so we also summarize each time. I hope to do better next time.

Reporter: 2. Where did your inspiration come from when you created these works?

Jiang Feng: Everyone often says that the design comes from life.

Reporter: 3. Do you think China's future indoor development trend is becoming more and more international?

Jiang Feng: Internationalization is not a slogan in the mouth, nor a gimmick on the name of a company, nor is it the opposite of nationality and localization. For design companies, abandoning the extensive and over-conforming project management model, learning, digesting, familiarizing with and implementing international norms, standards and habits is the way to improve the quality of design; with international aesthetic appeal, international vision and design Thinking is the only way to integrate into the current design environment.

To knock on the door of the world, we must first find the key to open the door, and this key is the internationalization of aesthetics, ideas, methods, and models. After being included in the world system, we really have the opportunity and the possibility to create a image and seat of our own.

Take our company's J&A as an example. In international study, J&A is most concerned about project management. The project management level directly affects the design quality, work schedule, post-construction, cooperation with other cooperation units, design effects, etc. It is an important measure of the overall strength of a design company. The low level of project management and non-compliance with international norms are the biggest gap between domestic design companies and international companies. Establishing scientific, rigorous and standardized process management and quality system control is the top priority of J&A's work. In the past few years, J&A has established a staffing configuration model for the project team, improved the document filing system and drafting specifications, and made the coordination between the designers smooth and orderly. In 2009, J&A became the first Grade A qualified design company in China. In 2010, J&A took the lead in introducing ISO9000 international quality certification system and was in line with international standards in quality system supervision.

Reporter: 4. How do you feel more integrated into the design of national culture in your design?

Jiang Feng: Different brands in different regions and cultures have adopted different designs to reflect the cultural characteristics of the region. When the guest enters the hotel, they know where they are. Such as the furnishings of art, the placement of sculptures, the use of different furniture and carpets, etc., because the differences between different cultural backgrounds and different regions will be vividly expressed through these items, thus giving people an infection.

Reporter: 5. Do you think that Chinese culture can let more people understand the charm of Chinese culture through interior design?

Jiang Feng: China has a long history of culture. However, at a time when international design is surging, historical reasons have left China behind. At the same time, Chinese culture is too large and complicated, which makes the discussion of culture and design both. The advantages of a hundred flowers arranging a hundred schools of thought, but also the confusion of many possible explorations. In today's irreversible international tide, the world is becoming more and more flat, and the world market is becoming more and more the same, and the difference between itself and other cultural values ​​becomes more prominent. Design is not only a reasonable arrangement of functions, but also an increasingly multi-dimensional meaning, and culture has gradually become the basis of design. Cultural values ​​are carried out by design and are increasingly expressed in the commercial market.

Rooted in Chinese culture, design companies must develop a sound system that allows cultural values ​​to run through brand management, management systems, design concepts, and audiences, thus creating an increasingly rich system that allows design to have long-lasting vitality.

Jiang Feng: The story of design, many design things will produce stories, such as some unforgettable project experiences, these are the stories we experienced while doing design.

Reporter: 7. Do you give some advice to young designers who have just stepped into interior design?

Jiang Feng: Relatively speaking, I feel that we must have a goal and direction. We must first locate it well. On this basis, we can participate in some projects. Young designers can get in touch with many good projects. In addition, I hope that they can calm down and really put themselves into design work, so that they can really gain something and exercise. Otherwise, if there are too many ideas, they will not be worth the candle. Be pragmatic, don't be too good.
