The relationship between dot density, field density, and dot gain

According to the network tone and density value analysis:

(1) If the dot density is increased to 0.03, it is equivalent to the field density expansion value of 0.8, dot network expansion is 0% to 5%, the ink layer density value is much different, the printing effect is poor;

(2) If the dot density is increased to 0.08, which is equivalent to an expansion of the field density of 0.9 to 0.95, and the dot network expansion is 6% to 10%, the printing effect is slightly better, but it is not ideal;

(3) If the dot density is increased to 0.13, which corresponds to an expansion of the field density of 1.0, and the dot expansion of 11% to 15%, the printing effect is in the best condition;

(4) If the dot density is increased to 0.18, which is equivalent to the expansion of the field density is 1.05~1.10, and the dot expansion is 16%~20%, the printing effect is very poor and beyond normal;

(5) If the dot density is expanded to 025, which is equivalent to an increase in field density of 1.15, and dot gains of 20% to 30%, the tone will be completely destroyed and 1/2 to 3/4 of the dots will be stuck. The print is completely out of order.
